On October 27th the Medical Society of Virginia sponsored a Virginia CME Provider Network Meeting from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Hotel Roanoke and Conference Center Roanoke, Virginia. The meeting was hosted by Carilion Health System and targeted towards Medical Society of Virginia accredited CME providers and ACCME accredited Medical Schools in Virginia.
The Objectives of the meeting were to:

The meeting utilized an Automatic Response System provided by Sentara Healthcare to set the scene for discussion of relevant topics that covered the following areas:

Approximately 25 attendees from all the targeted provider types were present and shared copies of CME program forms or documents that they were willing to provide to colleagues.
A follow-up summary report and evaluation can be provided on request and it is hoped that this meeting will provide an impetus for further collaboration and networking among providers in the Mid-Atlantic region.
