Purpose
Professionals who join the Alliance come from many backgrounds and interests with a common bond in continuing medical education. A Member Section is defined as a group of professionals in a common work environment. They come to Alliance gatherings to exchange information of general interest to everyone involved in CME and also to pursue topics of special interest related to their particular CME work environment. They also desire to meet and interact with colleagues in similar positions to share problems, concerns and solutions.
Process
Alliance members join a Member Section by indicating a section on their new Membership/Renewal Form. Member Sections usually meet for an educational or business related session on Wednesday afternoon prior to the Annual Conference. In addition, many engage in various activities and communications throughout the year.
Current Alliance Member Sections
Alliance members having an interest in creating a Member Section, representing a homogenous group of professionals that is not currently represented by a section, should contact the Executive Director.
