Target audience/background of members:

CME professionals who work in hospital and health system settings including physicians, administrators and educators, although participation of individuals from other member sections is welcome.

Purpose/goal of the section:

To provide assistance and resources to CME professionals who are involved in the planning and delivery of CME programs so that they can more effectively:

•	Identify mandates and changes as well as best practices within the CME environment,
•	Implement practical solutions to common problems and concerns,
•	Interact with other CME professionals via the member section meeting(s), the Alliance listserv, and
•	Identify member section ideas/concerns/issues, which can then be voiced to the Alliance via Section Leader’s position on the Member Section Committee

Planned activities of the section (at the Annual Meeting and throughout the year):

•	Annual conference educational session focusing on needs identified via member section survey as well as current topics,
•	Ongoing Alliance listserv communications focusing on timely issues,
•	Promotion of and participation in Great Idea Awards program.
