Others within the CME community that interact with CME providers from medical education and communications companies will also find this section to be of interest.

Purpose/goal of the section:

The main purpose of this section is to provide a forum for Alliance members to discuss issues and challenges relevant to their work environment and provide practical tips and solutions to advance the CME enterprise. MECCA also provides networking opportunities among Alliance members working in a medical education or communications company. This section strives to provide its members with a better understanding of all issues relevant to the CME profession and provide its members with resources to function more efficiently in the constantly evolving CME environment. MECCA also works to identify opportunities for collaboration between its members and members of the other Alliance sections.

Planned activities of the section (at the Annual Conference and throughout the year):

MECCA convenes a member section meeting during the Alliance Annual Conference each year.

Periodically throughout the year, MECCA sends out updates and communications to interested members with updates on new information and to generate interest in the next session at the annual meeting.
