Serve the Needs of Alliance Members.
The Alliance exists to serve its members. Our success is measured in the quality of service we deliver to them. My energies must focus on fulfilling the needs of the members we serve. |

Know My Job Description and Role.
It is an essential commitment to know the role and responsibilities of an Alliance Board member. I will recognize and discharge my responsibilities and strive to continually advance my knowledge of the position I hold. I will support the Executive Director in fulfilling his/her assigned duties.

Monitor Financial Stability for the Alliance.
As a Board Member, I will strive to ensure the financial integrity of the Alliance by approving an annual budget and diligently monitoring finances and investments. |

Give of My Time and Energy.
In a fast-paced, driven world, time is a precious commodity. By giving of my time and energies, I am investing in the members we serve, which is critical to the success of the Alliance. |

Provide Resources and Expertise to the Alliance.
Board members serve the Alliance with their talents, special skills and interests. I will provide assistance by generously volunteering my talents and skills, as well as providing contacts and encouragement to additional individuals who can advance our mission. |

Maintain Exemplary Standards of Personal and Professional Conduct.
As my steadfast commitment to the Alliance, I will adhere to these standards and the Board of Director’s Conflict of Interest Policy. I understand adherence to the highest standard is expected from Directors and serves to ensure member and public confidence in the integrity and service of the Alliance. |
